Total Ballistic Integrity:
Every component of the range (walls, ceilings, floors, bullet traps) is designed to withstand and contain the full energy of the ammunition used, preventing any dangerous ricochet or penetration. 1. We use specialized materials such as ballistic steel (AR500/AR550) and high-density rubber blocks, with engineering designs that ensure projectiles are safely guided into bullet traps.

Environmental & Health Control:
Ventilation System (HVAC): The range is equipped with a specialized laminar airflow ventilation system designed to draw lead dust and gunpowder vapors away from the shooters’ area and pass them through high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters, ensuring a healthy and safe working environment that meets international standards.

Acoustic Management:
We use soundproofing materials to reduce noise levels within the range, protect the hearing of trainees, and prevent noise disturbance to the surrounding areas.

Types of Military Indoor Ranges and Target Systems
At Maknoon, we offer several models of indoor ranges, each designed to meet a specific training objective:
Type 1: Basic Tactical Marksmanship Ranges
Description: Consists of multiple individual shooting lanes, designed to focus on honing basic and advanced marksmanship skills.
Target Types: Includes stationary targets that can be programmed to pop up or rotate to reveal friend or foe positions.
Calibers Used: Primarily designed for pistol calibers (such as 9mm) and short rifles.
Target Forces: Ideal for basic training for all forces and routine skills maintenance exercises.
Type 2: Interactive Combat Fields in Built-Up Areas (CQB “Shoot Houses”)
Description: A modular design consisting of multiple rooms and corridors that can be reconfigured to simulate a building or facility.
Target Types: In addition to fixed and rotating ground targets, this type features overhead monorail target systems. These systems allow targets to move dynamically through rooms, emerging from behind corners and doorways, realistically simulating enemy movement.
